Summary:
The Payroll Benefits Supervisor is responsible for providing professional, accurate and timely payroll and benefit services to employees of the school district.
Responsibilities include supervising and monitoring the preparation and submission of payroll, retirement, tax and related reports/forms/filing; payment of payroll liabilities, reconciliation of general ledger payroll liability account balances; and enrollment of employees in benefit plans/elections.
Coordinates and oversees Cobra partipicants, leave system, work comp claims, FMLA and LTD; and assists in audit procedures by preparing payroll work papers.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related area.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in school finance, accounting or payroll.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Contract: 12 month/full-time
Salary: $60,000 minimum prior to 18-19 contract settlement |
