We are looking for a Lead Instructor to work at the School Age Care Program in Kennedy Elementary.  The Program Leads plan and carry out a daily program designed to meet the developmental needs of all youth participants.

Hours: School year hours are 6:15-9:15am & 2:30-6:00pm Monday through Friday.

           Summer hours are 6.5 - 8 hours per day

           There are also varying hours on non-school days and monthly staff meetings that

           occur during non-program hours.

Starting wage: $18.81 per/hr

Job responsibilities:

- Maintain a safe environment at the site

- Establish a warm caring environment through the use of age appropriate positive guidance

- Plan and implement age appropriate curriculum

- Establish positive and friendly relationships with parents/guardians

- Supervise and evaluate program assistants

Required:

- Degree in child development or related field

- Prompt, regular and reliable attendance

- Ability to communicate with students, families, co-workers and supervisors in a positive

  way

Desired:

- Previous leadership experience in a school age care setting
