SCHEDULE:             Up to  5.75 hours a day

RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A SUPERVISING TEACHER:     

• To provide instructional support and accommodations
• To implement curriculum modifications
• To assist with behavior management
• To provide physical assistance 

RESPONSIBLE TO: Supervising Teacher and Building Principal

SALARY/BENEFITS:            Per terms of the Paraprofessional Contract

BEGINNING DATE OF EMPLOYMENT:  As Needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• A minimum of two years of post-secondary education

                    -OR-

• Documentation of a passing score on the Minnesota Para Pro Test

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with students who have special learning needs
• Successful work experience as a member of a team
• Experience managing student behavior
